He explores the relationships of physical geography and symbolic constructions that derive from it. Lester’s installations operate as semantic catalysts of complex and convulsive phenomena through the concentration of densities and materials that refer to concepts linked to the notion of displacements, migrations, territories, frontiers and their social and political implications. 

In this sense, one of the aspects that Rodriguez's work articulates, refers to the fact that, as a whole we are subject to the effects of both physical and symbolic transformations in the concept of territory and the idea of territoriality. In this sense, his projects explore the way in which changes occur in the social structure both materially and immaterially. 

These ideas are part of a body of work that has conceptually been explored in his work; these approaches have allowed him to investigate around a diversity of aspects that are developed through the use of elements such as maps, books, territorial extensions, objects, etc. 

In Rodríguez's work, the object becomes an element that brings together the different variables of a diversity of concepts in which this dialectic relationship unfolds through the way in which these ideas determine the final structure of objects or installations.

Explora las relaciones de la geografía física y las construcciones simbólicas que de ella se derivan. Las instalaciones de Lester operan como catalizadores semánticos de fenómenos complejos y convulsos a través de la concentración de densidades y materiales que remiten a conceptos vinculados a la noción de desplazamientos, migraciones, territorios, fronteras y sus implicaciones sociales y políticas.

En este sentido, uno de los aspectos que articula la obra de Rodríguez, se refiere a que, en su conjunto, estamos sujetos a los efectos de transformaciones tanto físicas como simbólicas en el concepto de territorio y la idea de territorialidad. En este sentido, sus proyectos exploran la forma en que se producen cambios en la estructura social tanto material como inmaterialmente.

Estas ideas son parte de un cuerpo de trabajo que conceptualmente ha sido explorado en su obra; estos enfoques le han permitido indagar en torno a una diversidad de aspectos que se desarrollan a través del uso de elementos como mapas, libros, extensiones territoriales, objetos, etc.

En la obra de Rodríguez, el objeto se convierte en un elemento que reúne las diferentes variables de una diversidad de conceptos en los que se desarrolla esta relación dialéctica a través de la forma en que estas ideas determinan la estructura final de los objetos o instalaciones.
